Did not take me long but I was able to run down the company and the technical service manager responisible for the design and fabrication of the decals on the HW edition car. I did speak with him and it is very cost prohibitive to have the real deal. The process used to produce the flames is interesting......Note that the current blue production decal is fabricated using a painting process that matches a blue color chip that was chosen by the GM Design Studio. BTW Fish-man the company in that link is not who does the HW decals. Maybe they apply them but I went straight to the company that designed them.

Who makes the stripes, by the way (Pm me?) Are they the ones that made the green stripes for the green concept car, or just the production version?

Anyway, I washed mine one time with dawn. I did not have the dealer pdi it, but wanted to make sure there was no residual grease from fingers etc. It took me better part of a day to clean the car all up and wax it. Going forward I will just clean the matte vinyl with regular carwash soap. That and a fairly strong stream of water. Made sure the matte stripes got dried all the way... not sure how to handle any water spots.

I got the final piece of the Hot Wheels decals on my Synergy this past weekend. The black bumper black out with red pinstripe.

Loved the SEMA Hot Wheels Camaro when I saw it. Your Synergy green looks great. You can have the rear flames painted in a pearl coat over the synergy green. That'll give you the subtle color shift you're looking for.

Very awesome!! Though for going all that way on the Hot Wheels conversion I really would trade out the SLP front Splitter for a 1LE Splitter like the Kinetic Blue ones have.

+1, also your ride is coming along nicely. Where did you get the front end black out vinyl? Could you also tell me how thick the pinstripe is?

True but the slp won out due to cost of the 1le piece. Same reason I went with SLP wheels n not 21" like HW edition

Did the front blackout come in two pieces? It looks like overlap of red stripe in pic above.

Also, can you post picks of under the hood? It looks like all the stripes were wrapped over and under edges.
