Well the SS took some damage during a storm this winter. The hood was replaced, new paint to fix all the paint chips and had the stripes painted on. I shopped around for a couple months selecting a body shop and decided to go with Fabricante Auto Body in Lake Forest based on other good reviews on Camaro5. The shop is about 150 miles from home and I had to flat tow across LA on my car hauler.

Eric took plenty of time to address all my concerns when I dropped it off. In turn I told them to take all the time needed to do it right. The price was very fair and the work is well ... Outstanding! The paint is perfect.

Now I just need to get some new wheels and tires. Check out my pics.
I'd just washed it and there was pollen on the black stripes already.

Actually, It's better than new, polished out like a mirror. The OEM paint had some orange peel and cloudy areas in the clear coat.

Eric is a cool dude, really into the cars so he puts extra care into it. The painter Christian really takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows.
We built last years SEMA camaro there and they have done work on several forum members cars. They also do all of Hennessey's Cali locations paint work as well.
Marine1991, they did all 2Edge's work back when they were in business so if I remember correctly they did some paint work on your car as well.
They are also 1 of 3 Mercedes Benz authorized body shops in Orange County, so they have to be good. Recent M-B award hanging on there wall.
Great paint and body shop.
