Fantastic looking car! I like everything except the wider cowl and extractor. But I'll prolly warm up to them Great job GM! |

If I had a ZL-1, there is no way I'd trade down to the new Z28, and then pay more for it. That's crazy. How often can anyone use the "three seconds faster than a ZL-1" feature during the course of normal everyday travels. Even if you have deep pockets, this car just ain't worth it. I'll take creature comforts anyday over slightly more speed. The ZL-1 is almost as fast and has all the bells and whistles. Personally I don't even like the front or rear styling and what's in between, most of us already have and then some. Just my two cents.

They will sell all they want to make...these will not be made in large numbers....so people will definitely be lined up at that price, maybe not you or me, but there will be a demand. Just look at the COPO Camaro, $55k for a rolling chassis/shell?

I think both the new SS and the addition of the Z28 look good. And yes the Z28 comes standard with no a/c or R/S halo lights or big radio but try to keep in mind that these will most defiantly be on the options list. Remember even the current ss does not offer halo lights or the auxiliary gauge package standard, all options. I just can't wait to order my new plate. 7POINT0. Yea that should say it all.

Honestly the more I look at it, the addon fender flares just don't work for me. Seems like an after thought.

No magnetic shocks? It appears to be manually adjusted?

Rmyers, Looks like you own a zl1 right? They do look like somewhat of an after thought but it more than likely stems from all the rock chips the tires fling on the current ZL1.

I think Orion is going to get some company in the garage... not necessarily a fan of the styling, but everything else is SPOT ON.
