Intake, better air flow in and out of the engine bay
Hey has any one removed the heat shield off the intake(the one under the engine cover and fuel line)?
And are there anyways to cool off our engines? I took off the engine cover and the weather striping on the aft part of the engine bay I also took off the wiper fluid sys and plastic blocking the intake.im tring to get better air flow in and out of the engine bay with out changing the hood or taking the wheel wells out. Any ideas. |

That plastic cover is to reduce noise, it does a pretty job of holding the intake temp up though

I took mine off, it is more of a sound insulator than a heat shield. There is a little more noise but no big deal.
