2014 1LE without Hood wrap?

Or a new model?

Saw some spy shots in New Mexico of the 2014 corvettes being loaded into Reliable car transporters.
One of the cars being loaded was a yellow SS RS w/ NPP and 20" 10 spokes in black. No hood wrap!
I can't locate the pics now but it was on www.corvetteforum.com C7 section.

What is it?

That's the exact pic. Also there is no front splitter.

Geez. Just noticed something. Are the brake rotors on the rear really large?

The test mule is not the same as the production version so yes, i think it had larger brakes.

Or could it be just a chase car to keep up with the Vettes?

If so, it's interesting that they would not use another vette of sorts and chose a test 1LE instead :P

Or it could be a */** test mule. Why would they have test mule for a car that's going into production soon?

Could be a CTF car. They have to rack up a certain amount of miles on them before the 1LE can be released and then they keep driving them to see if any issues pop up.
