removing the cats

just for sh*ts and giggles i was wantin to disconnect my stock manifold from the cats, drive around for a lil while, come home, and then reconnect them. i was just wondering if itll be bad for my car. i know ill probably get and code from it but im not worried bout that. i start thinkin if im on the road i might hit a bump and itll make the pipes push back into each other and that could be pretty bad if it did it on just one side, right? opinions plz

I guess you don't realize that the O2 sensors, that tell your PCM what's going on inside your engine, would be off as well.

Send a message via AIM to Ovenmitt
exhaust would probably melt some stuff in the engine bay with just manifolds, on top of sounding like ass
