Help! Scratched dash pretty bad....
:(
I was removing the center speaker (sounds better btw) and I dropped the magnet onto the dash and it took about a 1 inch gouge/scratch out of the dash. Of course its right in my line of sight and I'm a perfectionist so It KILLS me. My question is: Are there any nice aftermarket dash covers for our car made out of leather or something? What about a compound or something that can fill the scratch?

A trip to your local interior shop should yield a fix. Had a similar issue on my Mustang-they fixed it right up!

Thanks guys! I didn't see any interior shops online but maybe some body shops double as an interior shop?

Did you try the keyword "upholstery"?

I'll post it tomorrow. You will definitely cringe if you're a car guy....SUCKS. I was pretty proud because before that the only imperfections were like 4 rock chips haha

I just wanted it disconnected. Center channel speakers are acoustically incorrect unless your receiver (headunit) supports Dolby Digital 5.1 or 7.1. With a stereo source it makes no sense and the center channel disconnected helps the sound IMO and the stereo effect is back. Unfortunately it left that scratch...
