So has anyone pulled under a 13 sec 1/4 mi on a bone stock 2014 1LE?

This is info has been asked many times but let me say it again; different gearing force you to shift into 4th just before the end of the 1/4 while the regular SS do not need it, AND the IRS/20'' wheels/manual is tricky to launch.

12.588@110 is the time to beat. But great run Cammie! Bryan 1LE has the most impressive stock 1LE run so far 12.858 @ 112.61. The time is close to yours, but that is the fastest mph of any stock SS I think. Bryan has the shifting down.

I think with NPP (lighter+3HP) and electric power steering any 2013+ LS3 has a chance. But I think a standard SS has a better chance. I gave up getting into the 12s stock and joined the dark side. I think in the good air now I would have made it. But having fun trying to go deep into the 12s.

At the drag strip it's TC = Off and lots of practice.

I thought the stock Good Years had an equally soft or close to it soft compound...they only last about 15000 miles.

How is the clutch holding up? Any chatter or warpage caused from speed shifting?

The Goodyears are sticky, but the sidewalls are short and very stiff. So they have a very fine line between bogging and spinning. On standard SS Pirellis I was able to run 1.9 60's. The best I was able to do with the Goodyears was 2.1, although better drivers than me have run 2.0s.

As an example my best run was 13.2 in the heat of the summer, stock on Goodyears. I added a CAI and drag radials and started running consistent 12.80s. And this was with NT555Rs, not the best Drs.

The LS3 clutch is pretty stout. No chatter here at all, and I beat mine. I do have the clutch reservoir mod, so that may help the sticking to the floor problem. I have only seen the beginning of that, but so far not the problem I experienced on my '11 SS. Speed shifting is harder on the drive train than the clutch.

I tried launch control twice in my car and it doesnt work, the stabilitrack brakes the wheels. Just launch around 2k!

Just an FYI, don't drop the clutch when using the launch control as it doesn't work that way. You have to let the clutch out at a controlled but fast pace. (Not a side step)

Road racing is where the 1LE shines, but high 12s is impressive nonetheless. It is still a drag strip capable car!

Mine is at 12.465 @ 114.20, with more still in it with bolt-ons and no tune. So at least the 1LEs are as capable as the standard SSes. If I can get my 60' down very low 12s are possible.
