MMA – UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez
Ok, time for some predictions! Lesnar vs. Velasquez – I think either one could win. I prefer to see Velasquez win, so we can get a rematch with Lesnar being the challenger. Sanchez vs. Thiago – I’m not sure who will win. But I think it will be an entertaining fight, as most Sanchez fights are! Ortiz vs. Hamill – I would love to see Hamill get the crap beat out of him. I just don’t like the guy after watching him on TUF. But, Ortiz has been unimpressive lately. I think Hamill will end up wining this fight. Schaub vs. Gonzaga – Are these guys even in the same league? I think Gonzaga is going to destroy Schaub. What are your predictions? Let’s hear them! I created a multiple choice poll to place your picks. It wouldn’t let me do 11 multiple choice questions, so I put in the five main event fight outcomes… |

Ah, ya beat me to the punch on this thread!!!!
I gotta stand behind my boy Lesnar, but you are correct that any one of them could take it. Jake Shields in the UFC?!?! Haha!! I guess it's been months in the making, so I'll say Shields on that one. Sanchez either by KO or submission. Either Ortiz or Hamill. Gonzaga. Only a few days away!!!

I give credit to Schaub, he owned that fight! Gonzaga seemed to be confused the entire time.

No surprise Hamill won. But, IMO Ortiz looked better tonight than he has in his last couple of fights!

So far the Sanchez - Thiago fight gets my vote for Fight of the Night!
I thought Kampmann won. I guess that is why you don't leave the decision to the judges! Last edited by Jay_LHD3; 10-23-2010 at 11:07 PM. |

I'm disappointed with the result of the main event...
(Let me preface by saying that I'm of Mexican descent) I'm not excited about the fact that it turned into a race card fight instead of an actual fight. That nut-hugger Rogan always seems to be one-sided with most of the fights he announces (yes, you can look this up on MMA forums). I'll be the one cheering for Dos Santos at the next Heavyweight Championship fight... Jake Shields...C'Mon son!!! He gassed out quick, but he did take a big weight loss for the fight.
