Anyone know a trusted muffler place to do a muffler delete in OKC area? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm picking up my car today and planning on doing the muffler delete as soon as I can find a shop that will do it right.

I'd prefer mandrel bent and stainless steel.

performance muffler in norman does great work. He did my full 3" turbo back on srt-4 and it was mandrel bent.

No I haven't gotten it done yet.
Now that I have it, I kinda like the stock sound. Just a tad too quiet.

Did you change your exhaust?

Anyone going to the Moore meet this Saturday have a muffler delete?

if you want it a tad louder why not just have a muffler shop put on a diff muffler. i recommend aero turbine, they are awesome.

I got down to Norman this afternoon and had Doug at Performance Muffler on Porter and Gray do the muffler delete, and I am happy. Sounds great.

Very professional installation, took his time and made sure the tips look just like they did before the delete.

You guys doing muffler deletes: A6/M6?

I have the A6, but keep "hearing" bad things about the AFM kicking in. Just curious.

I heard bad things as well, however one guy that has the auto did muffler delete and didnt notice anything. Most problems are around the AFM kicking in. But you can keep that from coming in with a programer or on the highway put it in sport mode, shift down to 5 then back to 6. I am probably having mine done this week. They charge $80 at perf in norman. I will post my results here. Also ordered a CAI.
