Wink My future ZL1 :)

Im trading in my 2SS and buying a ZL1 as soon as they come out

Im thinking cyber gray with the black stripe

Smaller pully on the blower, kooks, and a nice dyno tune right away,

10sec material? yay or nay?

With Bogarts it should be easy.

Rethink the color. It's history.

Ya.....sad to say that CGM is a thing of the past. Discontinued in 2012.

Perhaps Carbon Flash Metallic?

Put a bigger pulley on the crank, the belt for the s/c is separate from the accessories. That's what the CTS V guys are doing, it actually helps reduce belt slippage!

I know, right?

Worse than having to rewatch "Old Yeller." - ( not the color )

CGM with black stripes & the heat extractor would have brutally ruled.

I guess GM decided it would be just too bad ass for us to handle.

Exactly. Overdrive crank pulley, and maybe an upper pulley; get to running 12-14 psi, LTs, CAI, tune, and DRs, and you should be pretty close in an M6. Get a stall in front of an A6, and you're there for sure Shoot - I'm thinking a good 3200-3600 stall and DRs will get you pretty good into the mid-11s! Maybe just a lower pulley and better tune will get you the rest of the way without LTs. I still want to see what kind of air cleaner and inlet we're getting though. CAI might not be worth too much... If they can keep resonators off the inlet tube it might be good to go from the factory! Lingenfelter is using the OEM air box for one of their CTS-V packages

I thought the car stock is going to run mid 11s. with all that you should be in mid 10s, no?

CGM would have also been my choice. Now, I'm looking at SIM instead, but I will see if there are any new colors that come out between now and the time that I get mine.

With all the people claiming to be buying a ZL1 including myself, I wonder just how many of us will be able to get our wish. I mean I have money down already and my dealer claims I'll get one ,but it seem to me that GM doesn't plan on building many which will leave many of us out in the cold. What do you guy think about this?
