What's a type 2?

Today while pumping gas in my car, a guy aproached me saying how nice my car was. Then he asked about the different level of the Camaro that are out. He mentioned super sport, iroc, RS, Z-28, then said something that sounded like type 2 ?! I informed him of the options currently out, and about the upcoming Z28, but I had no clue what a "type 2" was. He was kinda hard to understand so he might of been saying something that sounded like type 2 (i.e. typhoon). Does anyone know what he might have been talking about, and if so could you educate me so I don't make the mistake again?

I had to look up COPO. I'm pretty sure he was talking about a trim level or option from the past. He had to have been in his 60's. I think the guy was homeless, as well. :(

I noticed that after I replied to your post. The letters blended into the background.

Maybe a type T? I think they called the late 70's early 80's with the T-tops that.
