2013 SS auto vs. 2013 Subaru BRZ

Just kidding. I'm not worried about the go-kart. I just wanted to post this picture of my coworker's new BRZ with my SS stalking it.

On the straight away a stock BRZ would be definitely slower.

We can trek down to Englishtown, NJ one day and see. I can really only see it having the advantage on an autocross course. Any sufficiently-open road course would be all mine.

Even the V6 Camaro beats it on a course and cracks it on a straight road, very dissapongly slow vehicles. They look great though and have a nice street presence.

No offense, but I would really have to see a V6 Camaro beat one on a course to believe it. SS, of course on power alone, but the V6s extra weight nearly decimates it's HP advantage.

Why would I be offended?

They did a comparo with a V6 Mustang and a BRZ and the Mustang cracked it around the track. V6 Camaro definitely handles better than the Mustang. With the RS package it will definitely edge out a BRZ with equal drivers.

Wow, I had no idea that the RS package improved handling.

The panted RS antenna has much less drag coefficient!

Yeah the V6 Mustang DESTROYED it on BOTH tracks. For the price I honestly don't understand that car but hey I never did understand why poeple would want a RX7 or RX8 either so each to their own I guess.

I don't think the RS will add to any better track times. Maybe worse on the 1/4 because of heating them tires up to get traction.

Hey if your going to ETown, i'm in!

BRZ not a bad car, you could do worse. Probably can get some great gas mileage too. About time Subi & Scion came out with a real sports car instead of that off road BS.

RX7-8 were in another class IMO. BRZ sucks, plain and simple. Everyone was excited because they could finally drift a RWD japanese car.

Sorry but a sport car that is that slow in 2013 doesnt deserve the 'sport' title. Honestly I'm not even hating, the results/spec speak for themselves. Looks good though. I dont see how they could do worst, maube in the appareance department.
