Stick to the plan or keep it as it is?

If anyone read my last post you already know that I am custimizing a camaro for a new wheel and tire store I am starting Feb. 2010. Well, I ran into a little problem. Asanti sent me the wrong color combo on my wheels. The good people at Asanti are willing to pick up my wheels and make it right but I kind of like the way it looks, its just a little to common. I had a vision for this car and I would like to stick to the plan. What do you think?

Modds done-
Tint
blacked out tail lights, side marker lights
black bezzels
black and chrome ss plate
black defenderworx gas cap cover
chrome defenderworx bowties w\black outline
black camaro nameplates
black Asanti badge
custom Asanti door sills
Black 22" Asanti AF142 w/chrome lip/bolts
black ss badge
Vertical door inc. hindges
Hennessy intake

Modds intended-
Orange hood accents
Orange outline around all emblems, badges, bowties
Orange gills
Orange accents on wheels (see pic)
Black and orange ss plate
Factory ground effects kit-still waiting
Interior- black leather w\ orange suede accents
Exaust-Maginaflow or Borla catback exhaust with headders- undecided

Well, it looks good the way it is. But it does not "POP" or stand out in any way. So if your trying to get attention and stand out in a crowd of other modified cars, I would have them fix the rims.

Stick to the plan, it's what you envisioned. Looks good so far, I love black.

Although blacked out tail lights look cool, I think they are a hazzard during the day in bright sun light because the brake lights are difficult to see. I've seen a few cars with covers on their tail lights that match the paint and I could hardly make out their brake lights! I can just see someone plowing into the back of those vehicles because they could see their brake lights!

The chrome lip makes the rim look cheap to me.. I'd go with the original, it looks sick!

While I like the orange rims way better than the ones they sent you with all due respect isn't the black and orange mods going to look like "Halloween" 365 days a year ? If that's the look you want go for it - just pointing out the obvious...

Three of my cars are black and chrome so I wanted to do something different. I thought black and orange would be a unique color combination. Also I did not want ANY chrome on the car. I'm not worried about the halloween thing. Hell, I'll name it halloween. TJD34 I was planning on doing stripes like yours.

Cool - just wanted to point out the obvious rather than have you later realize it - the color combination is awesome.

My hood spears are from ridergraphix, just make sure you get with them if you have any questions on the install - I needed to have my professional installer speak with them to ensure the install was correct.
