Can't wait for it myself. Does your car has MRC?

Is the geometry correct to allow lowering and maintain negative camber gain?

Lol it is a basic question that one should ask before installing lowering springs. Lowering springs set the lower control arms in a different position and many times compromise, or reduce the camber curve. In an extreme case it can reverse the camber action from the desired, usually this applies to a double wishbone design, not so much with the strut design.

The kit is designed by GM. Includes revalved shocks and struts with higher rate springs.
Increased handling as well as lowering the car 20mm.

I think GM knows what they are doing, they wouldn't release a product that will destroy your suspension or tires.

Only the import guys have camber issues. ,)

I wasn't referring to your post, which makes sense. I was referring to the original post.

Has the price for the GM lowering kit been released yet?

Talked to the guys at bmr and they won't have a street performance set up for a couple months. They are working on the drag set up and track setup first. I'm betting Eibach will have a street spring first. BMR will have about 1" to 1.2 for the rear and .75 to 1" for the front to get rid of the rake and fix the big gap in the rear.

Im not talking about destroying suspension, or tires. Its about optimum geometry, which 20mm is probably not a big deal. There are loads of domestics that suffer geometry issues when lowered, in which drop spindles or better LCA's come into play. As soon as you reclock the LCA by lowering, the roll center and camber curve become affected.

I am not aware of this kit but you are correct if GM is releasing it, it most likely fall into the window of staying in the optimum range.

Ohlins has a adjustable shock for the 2016. Posted a short video clip somewhere here of them talking about it

Edit: sorry, I originally said Eibach. It's Ohlins with the adjustable
