Oil change really 85$?

So I have 5400 miles on my car and am going to go get the first oil change in a few days. Car says I still have 30% oil life. Are you guys paying $80+ for a full synthetic oil change? Maybe it's just Vegas lol

Synthetic changes here are around that much yeah, especially for 8 quarts.

Just do it yourself, $50 for the oil and filter.

That's a lot better than my Crossfire was -- $125 plus.

If I did it myself, the oil and filter cost me $79.

I'm a huge fan of synthetic, but is it required on the SS?

I paid $80 with a discount from the dealership. At a $100 or better I'd consider doing it myself and deal with taking the old oil to Autozone for recycling.

Some Chevy dealers have a $15-$20 coupon on their websites... check the service section. Paid $69.99 plus tax (6% PA) on my first -had to check 5 or 6 dealers for the coupon.

My second was free (dealership I purchased the Camaro from)

I will likely consider doing it myself or take it to Country Corvette, not sure I trust Walmart employees touching my car...
