I was just thinking, as I won't outside to wire my lights.

I open my hood about 10xmore than my trunk.

When we show people our camaros, we open the hood, not the trunk.

Why do I not have a button to automatically open the hood?

I'll reluctantly bite. Many people here complain that they've accidentally opened their trunk (via the remote) without even knowing. See where I'm going with this. I know I would not want a hood open button on my remote.

Oh and to answer the question: I open my trunk 10x's more!

I open my trunk all the time. But my car is a daily driver, so I actually use the trunk quite frequently.

really? 10X more? I dont know too many people that really open their hoods that much.where do you put your groceries? or do you open your hood at the grocery store to offset the fact you opened your trunk once?

so, to come up with a ratio of hood opening to trunk opening at 10 to 1, I can assume the average person buys groceries once a week. Therefore, you open your hood ten times in that same week. given your time at work, you would need to open your hood more than once a day. do you get out at stop lights and show it off too? cant feasibly see why someone would need to open their hood this many times...?

so, in short, I can see why you would want a button to automatically open the hood. You should think 'hydraulics'! wouldn't even need to get out of your car...

Its a chevy, why would you need to open the hood?

Honestly, we don't open either very much. We don't use the car for shopping trips or errands so the trunk doesn't get much use either.

This question had never occurred to me. I would say that I open my trunk more. I use it to stash groceries, or whatever else I happen to purchase. Should I be ashamed of that??

If you open your hood even half as much as your trunk either you have serious engine problems or you are just obsessed with it.
