Awesome !!!

Both look great. I'll bet the 1st gen would put the hurt on the 5th gen in the 1/4 but get spanked by the 5th gen on a road course.

Nice pics! It still amazes me every time I see a New one beside an old one. Our new ones look like tanks when sitting beside an old one.

Both are making 46x wheel, 68 also has a 200 shot on top of that. 68 has a 454 with h/c while the 2010 is an L99 with a 100% off the shelf Magnuson kit, stock pulley, stock intake and all.

Keep in mind the 5th gen Camaro is a good 7-800 lbs heavier than it's predecessor. Definitely no contest on any other benchmark.

Big advantage of the '68 is that it's value appreciates while the 2010 will depreciate.

I wouldn't be surprised if your 2010 get's better gas mileage on the fwy vs the 68 idling

I was wondering about that myself considering my stock 2010 V6 can put down the same numbers as most stock '68 SS's.

Nice!

Those are awesome side by sides. I love seeing them sitting this way. You can see the styling cues. Thanks guys. Here are a few more with mine and some others.

I always think of how diiferent they look when side by side. You can see the styling influence but the 2010 is not a clone by any means. I love that.

Those pictures are sure telling. You put them side by side and the new one sure looks fat and huge compared to the old one. I've seen it said that the new ones are about the same size. NO WAY! Side by side the new ones look like they need to go on a diet.
