Texas, St. Louis, Valdosta. in no order... and again NOT official.

Plus for this year you are not going to get much closer than Indy to Delaware. It's around 650 miles. A fun one day trip.

I love the "oh I have to drive less than 24 hours, that's just too much of a drive" crowd. the east coast is spoiled becuase you can drive for under 24hours and get almost anywhere.. on the west coast you can only cross about 2-3 states (if that) in that time.

Personally though I think it should be in the north west or Texas, we have hit the south west, south east and north east (if you don't think indy isn't north east your insane).

Oh and yes I am driving to Indy in August, also have to be back in phx the following Wednesday.

Yep still going.
Hold up, I do believe we have a few die hards from the east coast. You can plan it for Washington State & I would still go. Texas will work for me. Only a few can say they have not missed a fest.

Its not that I dont want to drive cross country but it would be a lot harder to.... it would be easier the closer for all east coast guys.... plus there hasn't been one on the east coast yet

Agree w/ both of you... and in no particuar order either...

1) Valdosta is totally hard to beat (Fest I was perfect, hard to beat and they wanted us back)

2) Texas... is way over due... great vendors, great tracks, great attendance at all fests so far.

3) St Louis - have not been, but thinking that's a winner too..

I'm good for Texas or Georgia....do long as maybe they can move it up a weekend. Most kids start school during August. Which is why I can make it this year. My little man start Kindergarden this year and his open house is the Thursday before C5FIII

I don't care where it is, I'm going.

It takes a minimum of 5 hours to get out of Texas from San Antonio, so everyone here moaning about how it's "too far of a drive for me" needs to simmer down.

According to Google Maps:

San Antonio to Louisiana State Line on I-10: 5 hours, 16 minutes
San Antonio to Texarkana on I-35/I-30: 7 hours, 26 minutes
San Antonio to El Paso on I-10: 8 hours even

So, yeah, no sympathy will be coming from the SA folks for anyone. I think the only people who have a legitimate argument are the folks from Canada, and they are some serious troopers to make it to these fests every year.
