Thanks first time I ever saw that. I don't like the way it stains the mufflers though. One of the DYI posts has him painting the mufflers so they don't stand out as much. Still might do it. The service manual says nothing about the holes.

AquaCam!

I'm pretty sure I saw you yesterday on Parker Road around 7:05 coming off 470 going south! I was in a muddy ass Silverado and my 3 year old was waving out the window. I was so distracted by that stunning color and with trying to get him a good view I missed my turn !

Yep, I'll be at Adams Polishes and probably Golden too.

Thanks. I am enjoying this ride more than any car I have ever owned. I think I remember you slowing down. I'm not going to make the Golden Cruise or the run to Adams tomorrow but looking forward riding with the group again.

If you check the Callaway site, the link listed was incorrect by the way, the description regarding the rotor design and patent pending IC manifold, etc. is the same stuff that the other dealers are peddling. It's all made my Magnuson. There's nothing proprietary that I've seen yet. Bigger injectors, re-flashing the ECM, bla-bla.., same thing. "Their own intake system"??..really? The pic shows the same black plastic box that everyone else offers, and it's the standard one that comes with the MAGNUSON kit. Magnuson offers the same powertrain warranty also, so that's not a selling point.

So, basically, you're getting an exhaust and some floormats, headrests, a key fob and other engraved trinkets for 10K more. If you want the Callaway name on your car, then this is the way to go....but I would venture to guess most members will end up going another route and put that 10K diff to better use, like a nice 427 long block, in case the first one pops! lol (.and still come out ahead.) Nice sales pitch though.
Do the math!
On the internet, it can often look like everything is the same. Allow me to explain...

Throwing "names" around as if they are king, is a bit confusing here... What does a car dealer from the 1960s have to do with Camaros today? Nothing to do with who/what they were decades ago... Not saying anything about them as to what they do - but you talking like they wrote the book, is misleading.

We - Callaway Cars, are an engineering company that has been around for over three decades. Hired by Chevrolet in 1985 for our expertise in positive manifold pressure, we have continued with the Corvette and Camaro platforms ever since.

While Magnuson does cast our supercharger housings with Eaton TVS internals inside, there is little shared with our package and the "kits" that shade-tree DIY'ers and local tuners throw on the cars.

In fact, I personally invite you to drive one of those cars - there are many variants out there, and then come and drive our company Camaro demo car, or a demo Camaro from one of our dealers.

Those who have, tell us our drivability is far superior to other TVS-based cars and the power delivery is much smoother. We have spent a lot of time ensuring this!

We also stand behind our products and packages in ways NO OTHER company can or does. Our powertrain warranty is unparalleled and customer support is second to none. In a word, we are peerless.

Again, I invite you to meet with myself or any other representative of our company and drive our car. Until then, please refrain from making such bold statements online as if they were matter of fact.

Regards,

Again, as posted above, there are several differences. It is disappointing to read your post here, especially after taking such time with you and your friend to explain many of the differences when we met this past year.
