I haven't seen his kit yet... I like what I see from IPS. But, price/value wins my dollars!

You looking at the STS kit?

Congrats Beauwulf................What an HONOR......

Glad to see you have received the recognition and rare honor the V6 crowd has deserved.

If SCRMING had not sold IVY he too would deserve this chance to have this honor, for all he had done for the V6 crowd.

Along with ROD 1 for his devotion to the straight line speed, he too should have a chance at the COTW.

Thanks RT... agreed, there are several V6s that should be considered. It's just good that a V6 is being considered at all given the quality of some of the SS's out there now... I'm hoping mine might give a few of them a surprise out there on the track though! hehe!

Some more progress...

Inlet for the airbox is in the center. Notice the tabs for the "dams". I still need to fabricate a plate to "squash" the tubes (to make them oval) under the cross member. They will be even with the bottom of the frame with the plate.

Hoses run through the radiator deflector up to the airbox.

I ran into a bit of a problem getting the long splitter struts attached to the bumper. The honeycomb section is between the bumper beam and the fascia skin. I'll have to build a bracket to do that so, I re-enforced the old mount locations inside and out. Hopefully, along with the added support from the dams, it won't flex too much!

I agree that there are some very nice v8's out there. But when over 40% were V6's in 2010 and over 60% in 2011, you would think we would have seen more than 3 in a year.

Most defiantly you will catch some of them so far off guard they will want to accuse you off being some kind of V8 with strange exhaust note. Or twin turbo'd.

Good luck. Keep those changes going and us informed.
