turned into a 2012 Shelby GT500. WOW! What a sweet car. The car is equipped with the SVT Package, Navigation and Ricaro Seats. He tossed me the keys and said go ahead take it for a ride...which I declined due to time. The car is loaded. Employee pricing plus extra money from Ford. Out the door for about $7K less than I will be spending. He wanted a ZL1 but couldn't get employee price so went with the Shelby. I was amazed at how easy that car is to get in an out of (compared to Camaro).

I'm sticking with my ZL1 order but MAN that is a very nice car...

Nice cars, no doubt. My neighbour was looking to buy my Bimmer when a ride in the Boss convinced him otherwise. He went out and bought a Shelby. Nice ride and it pulls breaking traction in the first 3 gears easily, and no question the upgraded interior is better than mine. But I just didn't love it. It did have the tossability i look for. It seems when it comes to American Muscle we mostly gravitate to a specific car. I think you'll love your ZL1. And he'll be happy with the Shelby. I see a race in your future. The question is track or strip?

That's a bad ass loooooking car, if i could buy one for 7 g's less than a zl1 that would save me 12 g's with the dealer markup. I would do that in a heart beat...........NOTTTTT ever, hahaha ZL1 or nun..

I saw a grey gt500 with white stripe pull up next to me on the freeway yesterday it looked sick. I'm glad I went with ashen grey with black wheels...I like that super snake alot. Just wish it hooked up better.

I'm taking the week of as well. Had an amazing time last year. Plus Ford let us run the proving grounds and play with a bunch of their cars and take to the track with their pro drivers. Can't wait!

color is sterling gray. my non gay life partner is looking at a GT in that color. If he were taller I would make him get a boss as I just think the boss is the way to go. I have been trying to convice him to build a half story house and get a reality show with mini me and then he could afford the shelby. Sucks being short and then having to pay for a normal ceiling height house.

No doubt. Nice color combination, if I were a Blue Oval guy I would be hot for that..., the Easter Egg Ford colors on Mustang's I see the chick's all around town driving do not hold a candle to color scheme.
