GoFundMe me also shows progress in the amount of money raised so everyone can see it's on the up-and-up. IDK just throwing an idea out there

5000x7%=350 is not to bad so we can get 30 people interested that will be only 180ish per person that's pretty reasonable. I hope mlee can find out the information then maybe we can try going down that road to make this happen if there's enough interest. Mlee if you could send me the information or post it on here we may be able to make this happen if there's enough interest. And if we can do it through a service like go fund me because I'm not willing to put 5 grand out of pocket up front

Do we know what the cut off date was and how do you go about starting an official interest post we could do the full track for about 300 a person if we do 30 people. Was there any other insurance or anything else needed to be purchased to protect the organizers

Those prices included insurance. If individuals wanted to insure their personal cars that was offered for a fee. I'll start a sign-up thread for those interested. I kind of like your idea of GoFundMe because we got ate up in paypal fees.

Thanks for putting that up. Hopefully the GoFundMe idea will work out and we get enough interest at least that way you guys as organizers would not have to extend any money out to hold the track and hope people would pay. It will be all up front and if it doesn't happen there's plenty of time for people to cancel their hotel rooms or find other activities on Thursday

Due to the downturn in the marine/oil industry and my stepdaughter getting married the weekend of Sept 8th, I will not be able to attend

I'm ready for Fest VII in the spring!

I wonder when we will find out more info on it. I'm planning on making a two week trip out of it and exploring out west.

I'm really hoping we know something fairly soon about this. I wasn't able to make either the Woodward Cruise or LS Fest this year and I'd like to at least try to make it out West from NJ. It would take a fair amount of planning on my end so the more information we get (even just a location & dates) the better. Hoping we get something....soon

It's been busy with the Fifty celebration last week and focus is now squarely on the Fest 7. Dates and Location coming very soon.
