We need to change this and meet up and swap out cars for some fun

Brother, I would be all over it... Hopefully... Then we can both give informed responses, and have a blast at the same time...

No doubt... I'ld poop at how fast your car accelerates through the quarter... I'll wear my driving suit so the mess is contained...and depends...

I love my turbos but if your supercharger kit can hold 1k whp then what is the point of switching?

If I may.....

Your "sc" choice is basically a glorified turbo set up anyway without some of the hang ups of a conventional turbo install..... No scavenger pumps..... remote feed lines.... heat issues etc..... the wow factor of turbos is fun... (one day Ill tell you about a Nasty G37 with Twins) but the daily driveability becomes questionable. you picked a direction you made everything bulletproof and over engineered .... Why give all of that away?

Just MY OPINION

Twins all the way. No belt and all the issues with slippage and tensioners.

If the goal is 1000+rwhp I would go twins all day. You can get there on pump gas and a 110% street car on relatively low boost (16-17psi).

Being able to adjust from 3-different boost settings (So the car isn't always in "Race" mode) is a nice bonus

Splash in race gas and turn up the boost into the low 20's and make 1200+rwhp or pull it back to 10psi and roll around on "Only" 700rwhp.

twin turbos.. I loved the turbo stuff back when I had my mustang..

Took me from a 300rwhp to a 600+rwhp on lower boost.. then probably tripled my motorhorsepower at 23 or so.

Therein lies the dilemma. My D1SC is maxed at 5300 rpm with belt slip and is too small anyway for this big breathing motor. I can get a custom TT setup for the same price as switching head units and upgrading the inter cooler. I just have no seat time behind a TT.

Turbos would be the max to match the engine you built every thing else will just be short of and you will be there eventually. If I had that motor it would be turbo for sure. MAX it out or you will never be satisfied it is a disease that only wants more power to push our heavy weights down the road or track and to kick that fox body Mustangs ass.
Amen
