Was your first car "sporty?"
Did your first car fall have sports appeal? Did it have a sporty badge or brand on it, like the SS badge or anything similar? Vote in the poll!

The first car I bought (and currently, the only car I've actually owned) is a V6 Grand Am Coupe. Is it sporty? Depends on your perspective. When you compare it to a typical Civic or a Corolla it most certainly is. Expressive styling, torquey low reving engine, factory cold air intake (branded as 'ram air'), is reasonably light at a bit over 3000 lbs, has rather wide & low profile tires, quicker steering & firmer suspension vs other Grand Ams (or Aleros or Malibus that share the platform). Its not a sports car by any stretch of the imagination, but sporty? Sure.
On the other hand, its a fwd 4 speed automatic that barely makes 200 ft-lbs of torque and couldn't hope to hit 200 hp. Nothing really sporty about that.

My first car is my 1970 Chevelle Malibu 350 with a Turbo 350. Not exactly a sports car but I still had fun. Should be a lot more fun once I get it back on the road.

I had a '84 Cavalier for my first car. Definitely not sporty!

'73 Nova. More muscle than sporty, but it was cool!

My first car was a 1998 red honda civic. My dad got it new, and then gave it to my big sister in 2005, my sister got into like 4 different car wrecks with it, and it was dented like crazy, and then my dad gave me the car. It was terrible, but it was a good first car, as I wasn't too concerned about getting door dings, scratches...etc

My first car was a '74 Malibu Classic 4dr, complete with peeling vinyl top. Other than the fact that it had a 350 in it, not much to say about the car, except that it was a good first car.
