LOVE my Vararam. But from what I hear the Injen Long Tube kicks ass as well.

Cai would be better down the road in case you decide to get a Maggie SC.

I prefer the CAI intake. I've seen both the CAI and Vararam used on SS and LLT Camaro's of equal mods. They will overall net about the same performance. The CAI intake with a scoop is the way to go from my experiences. If you order one, be sure to talk to Apex Chase!

Also, I prefer the CAI because there is no adjusting of car parts to put it on. With the Vararam you have you tilt the radiator and that is a downside of it.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

We sell all brands mentioned and all of them have a great rep with a good customer satisfaction rate. The CAI generally gets the highest marks and might just be the best performer with the race scoop.

Since your car is white I thought you might like to see this pic, CAI was the best bang for the buck of all my mods.

Most of these are SS cars so the proposition of a Maggie isn't one you have to consider. It's really what you like. I think the vararam is great. It gives great power and the difference in throttle response is night and day.

There is no doubt there is good performance to be had from an OTR ... but from my first hand experience the customer service from Vararam is not on par with others. Slow to answer questions, abrupt and verging on rude responses, then as soon as I said I was thinking of going for a SC later, they basically said "can't help, not interested" and shut down dialog.

As apposed to Bill from CAI who was nothing but helpful from the very first email and has continued to provide support to questions and expressed his appreciation every time I mentioned mentioned them in anything.

Well when I contacted vararam they were extremely nice to me. I had lost quite a few parts from my intake while cleaning and installing other things and they sent them to me for free. Steve has always answered all my questions and even once when I asked a question I didn't know, he asked a tech to get the answer. Another thing is, the op has a v6 so supercharging isn't an important point. If I had a v8 and was contemplating a maggie, I'd probably go with rotofab or CAI but for his application, he doesn't have to worry about it. Even if he were thinking of supercharging, the v6 has no roots kits and only has centri kits which you will lose you cold air intake with anyway
