1997 v6 Throttle Cable Broke

Im wonder wat years and model use the same throttle and cable as an 1997 v6 camaro

All 3800 Series II, Cruise and TCS/ASR dependant.

yeah, any car with a 3800 engine will work. Check the camaros/firebirds, some buick sedans and chevy vans also had that engine. I know the van we had when I was younger had the same engine (a 98 venture). There's a ton of them in junk yards.

99-02 have electronic throttle body control, so you would need to get it form a 95-97 3.8 fbody.

yeah it will only work with RWD 3800 II, the FWD ones have a bunch of differences

12557565 is the part number from GM (for an automatic trans), if it makes any difference. Still available from GM with a $32.42 list price.

12556795 is the cable for a 5 speed manual, but it shows discontinued unless there's a superseding part number.
