Something aint right there. Mine has a little wobble but not nearly that much. My issue is the violent rattle at hi revs. Sounds like the cue ball has bb's inside of it.

Just food for thought---do any of you guys that are having vibration in the top of the hurst shifter happen to have a S/C or any other power adders.

I'm running about 550hp and it only goes into rattle mode when I really hammer it.

Seems like its getting a harmonic vibration and hi revs. I installed it after the S/C so I can't compare the before and after vibration. If it persists, it must go.

Oh ya...I had an 8' 2x4 in the car the other day and it was against the shift knob at one point...I'm no music guy but I think the 2x4 was an E-Flat.

Just got my 2SS/RS Synergy Green Monster on Friday with the Factory Hurst and was STOKED to see my ride 200 feet away...

and once i opened the door ... looking for the shiny chrome and white cue-ball when i opened the door, i found a rubber stressball with a baseball stitch on top...my heart sank. it did have a lil shiney 'H' on the side, swearing to me that it was Hurst.

Does anybody know if i can switch out the Factory Shifter knob and boot for the chrome stick and white ball???

without the wobble??? Damn that video scares me.

Get a trim tool and pop off the center console and set it aside. Be gentle, don't yank or it will break. then remove the screws and lift up the boot and have a peek. I have a feeling that its similar to the the one at the SEMA show that was one solid piece.

Camaro Scotty said that it'll be in the GMPP October Catologue update. So GM Parts Direct should have it.
