Anyone with the carbon tips on the ZL1 yet?

borla is telling me that they are not shipping any out until mid-late dec. anyone else heard this.

they were back ordered due to AFM/NPP valve issues. I ordered mine back in July and just got it and of October. The valve issue was found somewhere around June/July. The back order isn't that long but the valves just got fixed and they are going to have to catch up.

I ordered the S-type back in early September and was told it would ship late October. Looks like I might be waiting for a while longer than expected.

I spoke to Borla today. Carbon Tips will be available after the new year for ZL1.

Now for the 2+ month wait

Borla needs to flare the tips like factory....such a better look!

What about cabin sound in Stealth mode?
I don't want a system that will give me headache if I drove it in long road.

You won't even know it's on til you hit the gas.. drove 1100 miles to Florida I to thought I was gonna be a problem but nope.. not even in track mode does it bother ya. In fact my wife's radio is at a lower level than i keep mine on..she has Borla headers and ATAK and I have TSP headers and stock Npp

Here is mine on my 2018 A10. I have 1-7/8 Kooks headers and no cats. I absolutely love this system. I did not get mine with the stealth valve because race car.
