I've been really wanting to blackout my bowtie, but am afraid of all the difficulty of Doin it yourself. I don't want those rpidesigns ones where you have to fully take off your bowtie and put on theirs, I still want the chrome finish on the outside of the bowtie, like the stock one, I just instead want the gold part to be blacked out.
any other methods or things I can buy? edit: just found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...ht_5180wt_1102 seems good?

I'm thinking of having my bowties painted when I have my hood spears painted on. I wonder if the body shop will get a lot to do them?
