What's the best clutch for 750 rwhp?

Curious as to what would be the best clutch to add with new mods? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Checked with McLeod and they priced a clutch to me for 2,500.00 dollars.

Kinda pricey.
I'm planning on swapping to the Mcleod RXT this summer. pushing 708/694 RWHP.
BUT the price is half that.

Interested in a good clutch also. When mine starts slipping I may try the ZR1 clutch. Won't have sticky tires on for awhile so I should be fine for now.

I was quoted $1090 shipped on a RXT w/ billet steel flywheel.

Mantic 9000 can be found for around $1600 shipped, and comes with new flywheel & slave.

In my opinion the very best clutch is the RPS/ Street Slayer. I'm on my 4th clutch in just 9000 miles and the slayer is holding. I have heard good and bad with the McLeod. I would consider a Monster. I don't recommend the ZR1 clutch if you drag race at all, that was my second clutch and my first mistake.

I hope monster has figured something out since mine. Had a stage 3 in my z06 and it chattered really bad. It held like nobody's business on a lot of spray, but daily driving was pretty annoying.

I have pics of a destroyed Mantic if you are interested. It drove great but only had about 30 drag passes in it.

I talked a bit with the owner at Monster and he offered me a 1 year warranty no questions. Considering I went through 3 expensive clutches in less than a year that sounds pretty good. I had already ordered the street slayer triple before the Monster offer came out. Eventually this Street Slayer clutch is going to wear out and since it is rebuildable (as are Monsters) I'll consider the cost of rebuild vs replacement and how long it lasted.

Feel free to call me if you'd like a quote on the LT1-SC as it's good to 1000rwhp and what I'd recommend. It'll have OE pedal feel and is going to be the longest lasting twin as it's the only one on the market that can compensate for wear. Chris, 817-750-2000
