Fuel Sending Line leak
Ok all
i could use some guidance i have found a leak in what appears to be in the fuel sending line what is my next step to fix? do i need to Drain the Tank or can it be fixed with Gas in Tank? is fixing this semi easy or should i have somebody do it? Secondly how the hek do you troubleshoot electrical problems on these cars i have a good alternator and a brand new battery (2nd battery already) how do i determin what is draining the battery

I don't know about the sending unit but for the power drain make sure everything is bolted on to the alternator tightly, yes I know it sounds stupid but I know two people that had charge issues just because the ground needed to be tightened about a half turn more.

Can you cut out the section of line and replace it with rubber fuel line ? From the picture its kind of hard to tell whats what.

It is tough to tell with that pic. But I dint think it can be adressed without draining the tank, unless you can clamp off the lines some how. It may be in your best interest to just replace it as a whole. That's what we did. Actually we did all the lines! What a pain.
