the K&N, IMO
I think the K&N is the best system as I had one on my V6 2010 Camaro before I traded up to the SS. I have my old one for sale at half price and I used it for a mere 6 weeks. Checkout my thread in this very forum area:

Great question, no definitive answers...
A definitive answer to youre question is almost impossible on this site. There are many threads on this subject.
I'm the one who just bought and installed Camarodriver K&N CAI posted above and I like it a lot. Prior to that I had a G5CR which I beleive it's top quality also. I took it off because the company doen't plan to offfer a HEATSHIELD. Mine if out since yesterday and I will sell it for cheap as long as you're willing to get a heatshield DIY. I paid over 300.00$ and will sell it for 150.00$ + shipping. |

I had my K&N installed on a friday and I got a CEL on sunday. Tried to get it off with fuse pull or else. So I putted back the G5CR back, got a scanner and cleared the CEL. No problem since with the G5CR, so I'm keeping it.
As for Vararam it's a wait and see for me. Everyone went for Airaid V1 and there where problems and they had to put out a V2. So I will wait for results before thinking buying one. Will see what the G5CR will do in hot weather, maybe it's good since the air flowing into the engine bay does'nt have any restriction.
