What does this sound like?

Ok, I have a 1994 V6 Camaro and every morning when leave out and pull out of the garage and start going down the street and i think in like 2nd gear??(at about 20mph) it jerks kinda hard going into 2nd gear, but as i drive it home from school or where ever(like from a red light,or stop sign) it dosent do it anymore. If i put some trans fluid in it do u think that will cause it from doing that? or do i need a new trans? advice?:(

Going up in the gears, eh? Did you notice it more toward the front or rear of the car. It could be the u-joint for the drive shaft getting wonky near the diff. My Exploder did that from time to time. But check the fluid levels for the transmission (dipstick under the hood) and make sure you're in the zone. If it needs it, do it.

Best bet would be to also flush the transmission before moving on to the u-joint. Though, while you're under the car it wouldn't hurt to give it a peek anyhow.

Cool, let us know how the tranny fluid comes out. It's an auto 4 right?
