Thanks for the pics -I like it with the ss in the grill but we will see.
My bow tie in the front is black and red no chrome.....

I blacked out all the chrome on my badges but won't post pics till after the April C5F. The Black C A M A R O looks good on the sides IMO. Chrome wasn't doing it for me.

Just replaced them with black "camaro" no paint right? Where did you get this from if you re badged... Also have you seen the rear lights than you can buy to black them out? I can see that being soo nice on the black camaro

I used rubbing alcohol to get rid of the glue on past cars, never had any problems.

I used sand paper and a sand blaster and it got All of it off!!!

actually it came down to not wanting summer only tires...my car is a year around car and in st louis we get some snow and crazy drivers...not a good mix for tires that become like ice skates when it get freezing outside....as for funds.....I could of got the v8, but the promise of 29 mpg on the highway sounded really good.... and I really dont dig the rs package...Im not big on the halos or the darker taillights...but thats just me.

I used some Citrus based Bug and Tar remover I get at Advance auto, it's safe for clear coat finishes and makes your hands smell good too..LOL
