I asked the question today during the live chat with GM. This is the s/c they are running on the ZL1. They said it was different than the others. What is so different?

It isn't different. It is just the generation of the TVS blower. ZL1 uses the LSA engine out of the Cadillac CTS-V, so it is a TVS1900 1.9L blower.

Ahhh....Being a s/c newb, I thought they were stepping it up from what was already available. This is what Al wrote, and why I asked the question.

Mike, thanks for the question. We are using the Eaton Generation 6 Supercharger, which spins at over 2.5 times engine speed. It has a broader range of power through the RPM band, and also an effective use of Horsepower at higher RPM - not traditional of superchargers.

It was just a description used in a marketing manner, nothing new here
