Can't wait to see Richard Hammond (who secretly wants to be an American) takes this around the Top Gear Track... followed by the Stig!!!

This will be the "first car to get Delphi's (now BWI's) next-generation magnetohydrodynamicalgezundheit adaptive damping system that's faster and more reactive that the current version, found on the Cadillac CTS-V and ZR1. (Oh, and also the Ferrari 458 Italia and Audi R8.) It can adjust the suspension up to 1,000 times per second."
And.... ELECTRIC POWER STEERING.... Sweet! |

Mustang doesn't have MRC or IRS just to name a few. For comparison, the Camaro convertible weighs an astounding 500lbs more than the Mustang convertible But somehow with only the 18 more hp the Camaro runs almost identical 0-60 times and is quicker in a figure 8. The Camaro convertible's chassis is one of the most rigid convertibles ever built. The Mustang chassis rigidity is not even in the same league. It's not all about hp, but the total package. |

Wishing Chevy hadn't shown it in silver with black wheels/accents. That is going to be my color combo, now everyone is going to want it.

Go look at some real world numbers and trap speeds etc. The CTS gets better traction when stock. It is not faster. Enough said about that... |

My 1996 Corolla only has like 570 HP but it will win against the ZL1 because it is FWD. I also painted the calipers yellow. The ZL1 calipers aren't yellow, they are more like a gray or black - um hello? Do those brakes even do anything??!!? What is wrong with you GM??? Let's start with the basics, OK? Plus, I've got over 200,000 miles and the ZL1s haven't proven they are durable yet because they aren't even on the showroom floor. Let’s see the ZL1 run over 200,000 miles and then we will talk. And I can run in the snow and seat 5 plus fill my trunk with baby toys. I also heard the GT500 was the best from my buddy who works down the road from the Ford dealer in our town. No way will the ZL1 beat it. Fact.

As if I needed any more excuse to be glued to the Camaro 5 forums!! Every single day I'm on here hoping for the next little tidbit of information - today has been information overload, but is my thirst for knowledge on the ZL1 quenched??...you've got to be joking! I need to know more and I need to know it NOW!!!! |

I'm around 3850 without me in it (170 lbs) and on the stock PZeros I went 11.973 @ 120.19 last weekend with 560HP/520TQ (ground) on a manual. This is with the 2.3L TVS.
