I have taken Ruby out for a couple of rides since install of her headers & tune & I think she is still "learning" her new parts. Each time the sound seems better & the get-up-and-go seems peppier. I just can't wait to get her out on the drag strip to see what she will do. Here are a few pics from today.

Today I replaced Ruby's cabin air filter, replaced the 'A' from the driver's side because the chrome was coming off & gave her a good coat of cleaner wax. She will get a good detailing on Friday & I will be ready to race at LS Fest!!!!! Here are a few pics:

I had a blast at LS fest this weekend. Nothing like 3 days of drag racing, ride-alongs in autocross, watching lots of cool racing activities, getting to drive on the new Corvette Museum road course track & spending time talking to vendors, club friends & automotive enthusiasts to improve your spirits! And.............Ruby takes another SS victim! Here is a video clip of my first round elimination run against a lightly modified SS. We were both running in the 14 second bracket so this was a heads-up run. SSlayer rides again! And of course that meant I got to run again in round 2. That is pretty much all I hope for running against some of the fastest 5th gen Camaros there are and professional drivers. I had a blast!

Thanks! It was sooooo fun and...................................more racing this weekend! We are supposed to have excellent conditions so I am hoping for a good improvement in my times!

I forgot to post this results list from the LS Fest. Since it is a first & last time event I need to hang on to it for bragging rights. I understand there will no longer be a 5th generation class which is what allowed me to run with the big (LS) dogs for 5 years. I am Very sad about that. It was a blast! I actually made it through the first round the previous year but since there were more cars running, I did not finish in the money that year.
