I called the 1-866 number today and they told me it was produced and I got my VIN! My dealer still says I am at status 3000!! So event codes are pretty much useless. I was getting really frustrated with being stuck at 3000, so for those of you in the same position, you might be further along than you think! Here's my VIN: 2G1FT1EW6A9107395.

Actually I called 1-866-790-5700. Not sure if it directs to the same call center, but they had info, and the 800# never had anything to tell me.

I would check with the dealer and have them check to be sure.

i just called to have mine looked up and all they could tell me is "your car has not been built yet."

No shit, i wanted to know what code i was at. . . they had no clue what i was talking about. . .they said you can use your order number for your code. ugh

My dealer showed that event codes were only updated twice last month so there isnt really any accuracy to it unless its just been updated in the last couple days.

My dealer still says I am at 3000, that was kind of my point. I gave the GM rep my order number, she put me on hold for a couple minutes and then said "I am very excited to tell you that your car has been built and I have a VIN for you!" She was really friendly and sounded like she actually cared, which was unusual.

Great news I called and my baby was born today, Yeah!! 2LT/RS VR. THey said my car is built and ready to ship. I then called my dealer and he gave me the vin number and said when he knows about shipping he will let me know!
Kinda funny I told my salesman Yea I bet your glad as much of a pain as I have been and he said yea. LoL
Not sure if he was paying attention cause he changed the subject and kept talking.
I'm like hey he said yea??

I just called and talked to Randy.... gave my order number and I was put on hold for a few minutes. I noticed that I was following the same order of events as mmarcum and got excited. However, all Randy could tell me was that i was in line to be produced. Of course I asked for a VIN and status code, but they had nothing.

Oh well, maybe next time.

I just called the 1-866 # and got a fairly knowledgable rep and she did tell me that the dealers are able to see more accurate info than they are,

and i'm still at 3000 with no TPW
