Ease up guys, he just would like to see how far it is and such, would be absolutely miserable drive with a fussy kid. (I can completely understand, and nothing wrong with a solo experience). Mine are well grown, so no worries here, my concern on the October cruise is that that place will be JAMMED with cars, not sure I want to drive that distance at 5 mph.

Sounds like nerves here have been frayed, so easy to misunderstand someones intent, I am sure no one intended to sound as nasty as the remarks have been taken.

Every day must feel like ground hog day to you per running everything. I won't be on this cruise 3 times is enough for me. Take your kid last year a family of bears crossed right in front of our car. My youngest was to young to remember but we went to the zoo yesterday and all she talks about is the lions, Tigers and bears.

Looks like you can't spell in this post either. Maybe you should get all the facts about someone's life before you prove how ignorant you really are in writing.

WOAHH. Let's slow down. Don't scare people away from this BEAUTIFUL cruise because of some drama. @MYD- While I do understand that it would be miserable and stressful on all of your passengers with a fussy child, last years cruise was done at a very good pace, with many stops along the way for restrooms and overlooks. Also, with such beautiful views and smooth sailing, even my girlfriend/photographer fell asleep! I'm sure that even if your 3y.o. starts gettin' a little fussy, they'll fall right asleep during the cruise. Also, the lunch stop is not a mandatory thing, and neither is staying with us during the entire cruise. If you need to head on home, I don't see where that would be a problem! At most, we would just have a missing party at the lunch location, which I'm certain is understandable.

That being said, IMO, its a great family experience with great people. Set your differences aside and lets cruise Skyline together as a C5 family!

@smkeeling- You're not coming this year? That's sad to hear! I'm sure my girlfriend would love to see how much more ASL your daughter has learned! (hopefully I'm remembering you correctly! haha) You'll be missed!

I haven't seen anything on the Tyson's show, but I'm not going to take over this thread to find it. If the wife doesn't have a wedding to perform then we will be there.

@ Tim... You are correct, Sage still works her sign language but not as much as she use too. I would really like to get her back into it. We are going to be driving the skyline drive with the in-laws, reason for not making this trip. If you want to hear someone whine come with me on that trip They want pix of the camaro and their mustang.

Any interest in putting a list on post 1? That could give a general idea of who and how many are coming. If so, put me down, plus 1. We're going' leaf peeping' in the Adirondacks this weekend, so we'll get a head start, lol. Looking forward to some more leaf peeping, Camaro style!

Dang, have not been on here for a long time and was bummed when the dates first tossed out was the 12th and 19th. I'm a mailman and work most Saturdays, but then saw it's on for the 26th now. I'm off that week so the wife and I are planning on making it. Stoked!
