They have not yet released pricing info for the Z/28 but it is expected to be north of ZL1 pricing, possibly as much as $70,000 just so you are aware.

Do you have any intentions of actually track racing your car? Because if not, I would say don't do it... The market for people who actually want a z28 will be quite low, considering most people don't only drive their car on the track. I couldn't imagine giving up the luxuries you have in your 2SS for that. You would probably be better off getting a ZL1 and keeping all the things your 2SS has... Other than track racing, the only thing good about the Z28 to me is that matte white color, which would be a pain in the ass to keep clean. Maybe it is just me, but I like my luxuries and would not be willing to give them up for that. Not worth it unless you're a full-time track runner.

why would a z28 be that much more than a zl1? sure it has a 7 litre engine and nice suspension mods.. but damn that's a little crazy. i'll probably end up trading for a zl1 if thats the case. thanks guys

Yeah don't do it. It's strictly a track car. I think they said AC is optional

"expected"? Didn't GM already say it was going to be their most expensive camaro? With the ZL1 base price at around $56k I'm guessing $60k for the z28. But just remember that the z28 is going to be pretty stripped down. So, considering the new stingray corvette is starting off at the same price as a zl1, unless you're going to track the hell out of it or are a jay Leno or jerry Seinfeld collector type dude, you have better options than the z28.

A/C iis an option, rear seat delete, radio,no Fog lights, nice car for the track but not worth it for an everyday driver or even a nice weather car . IMO

Id drive it every day if I could afford too with but I would have to get some better daily tires than the trofeos R with that low treadwear rating. I like a no optioned car I don't need no luxury to daily it.
