nanny......... but great when teaching a 15 y/o how to drive a stick
I always hated getting in a car I'd never driven on those hills in Seattle. It would come in handy. But those hills would let an auto slip at 800 RPMs. lol

I had a nightmare/dream I paid $40k for a Camaro and it had sunroof option, everyone was staring at me and pointing at how beautiful the car was, meanwhile I was bent over and craning my neck forward(everytime I closed the shade I had to hunch over even more but when I opened it up so you can see the sunroof it was better), it was fun but very uncomfortable. I have no idea why the hell I had that dream.

I think I understand what the OP is saying, but I think it can be applied to more than the Camaro.

(not to pick on GM but...) The Malibu we bought for my wife was a 2LT with a fair amount of options, still the 4cyl, and it MSRPd for 27,xxx dollars. I couldn't believe it. An average middle class 4 door sedan in the middle of the option chart closing in on 30,000 dollars is ludacris to me. (don't get me started on trucks).

We didn't pay close to sticker, bit it was still an eye opening experience.

30k+ for a base mustang/camaro is just as nuts to me.

I'm surprised I haven't been having nightmares and convulsions since I ordered my '13 Shelby....

If I am not mistaken, then I have seen the US/Canadian parts content increaing in the camaro. Cany anyone confirm that? If the price increase is in fact because they have found USA sources for more parts, then I will gladly pay the difference.
