2011 camaro stripes
Tried using the search function (probably not thoroughly enough), but was wondering if the rally stripes like the ones in this pic are provided as an option or if they stop on the hood? If so where can you get the ones pictured:
http://www.gearheadsdesign.com/galle...SS_10-6-09.jpg Also does anyone know of an option to get the chevy ribbons painted black with the color of the car in around the edges of the ribbon. I've seen this on some cars, is it a after market paint job on the ribbons? thanks!!!! |

Those rally stripes and the black bowties are aftermarket, I believe. Check out ridergraphix.com and look at the styles.

All the ones I've seen at the dealership stop at the edge of the hood and not extend down like that. What I really like are the full extended stripes from bottom to top. Similar to this:

Ehhh... Not my style. I actually like the factory ones. They match/fit the hood better. The top to bottom ones remind me too much of that other pony car. If I get stripes, I'm getting these.

Those are often referred to as the bumble bee stripes. The ones that stop at the hood are factory. Check out ridergraphix and big worm graphics. They have quite a large selection of styles to choose from!! including the ones you are looking for. (And maybe ones you might be more interested in) |

Those aren't the exact match of what I'm looking for but they were close. I'm hoping for something unique that wont remind us of the "vehicle that shall not be named".

Check out the stripes that were used on the 2010 Indy Pace car.I think that is what you are looking for style wise.If white is the colour you want you should be able to order them at a Chevy dealer.Just say you want the stripes from RPO code Z4Z cars.Do a search for the pace car I am sure they are the stripes you are looking for but will only be available in white from GM.

I went a little more old school. Trunk stripes go all the way over the spoiler like the Bumblebee style.

Thanks for the replies!!! you all are awesome.
So if I get the aftermarket stripes, does it cost much to have a body shop put them on. I've never messed with vinyl and would guess i'd probably screw it up if I tried to put them on. Also, is the rear spoiler standard on the 2ss? I can't find the option on the chevy site. |

The spoiler is standard on the 2SS.
Yes, you can pay people to put them on. Often tint places will do it for you. The dealer might have a person too. Usually around $200 for install. I like the extended on the SS with the mail slot, but not on the V6 (without the mail slot). Just my personal opinion, no offense to to those who like it. It just shows the nose dip too much for me. |
