Cel light after long tube headers

Just got my long tube headers installed everything is connected correct no leaks but I'm thrown codes p1133 and p1153 and I have a predator tuner. I wanted to know is there any way to turn them off for good without a custom tune I'm planning to buy a sct x3 in a few weeks and didn't want to buy a tune for the predator
Thanks in advance

I normaly never post but yours caught my eye.

The tune will most likely turn off your light, but I would be a little worried the computer wasn't getting the right data. Are you absoultly sure you do not have an exhause leak on both your left and right banks I ask becuase this code can and will set when you have an exhaust leak 6-12 inchs away from your heated O2 sensor. It has to do with how many time the voltage switchs in closed loop for 100 seconds.

I personally have not seen the code set after long tube installs, not to say it can't happen though.

Me and my mech went through after install and after a spirited test drive I've seen other with the same code some say it's caused by the o2sensor extension wire and or the sensor takes longer to heat up since it is further down I guess I will have to work some overtime and order the sct tuner from Jre

I also agree with you on the extension wire and which one use you... I don't know what you did... wheather you sodered in a slice but they are made to breathe with outside air... so if threre is no leaks look in the the extension wires. It woudln't take longer to heat up, its most likely a 5V reference resistor and should have an effect. But would have to do with internal and external 02 readings

Can I ask where the extenion wires came from? Along with the headers for that matter? Did you contract the manufacture?

Long tubes will set a code. Some cars set the CEL right away others take a while. Tune and enjoy your ride.
