Dallas Raceway closing???

I'm sure some of you have heard the rumors again, but the future of Dallas Raceway is again in question.
You can check out their facebook page for more details, but it looks like the folks currently running it will know monday whether or not they are buying the property or need to be out by tuesday.
From the sounds of it the bank has 2 offers and they'll be accepting one this monday.

you've been there, what.....once?

I've been there plenty of times and it's much better than Ennis. Wish I had more time to go more often.

They dont give bad service. Its just brand new and no one can seem to keep the bills paid, the builder really racked up some major concrete loan money, banks gotta do what they gotta do

Well......NOT closing.
Apparently the track has been purchased and the folks that are running it now (and quite well the past few times I've been there) will be running it for the foreseable future.

they actually called us and asked us to purchase it, seeing how we own the local 1/8th mile drag strip here. for what they offered it to us for and for how much money is put into that place, it would be a heck of a deal, just no time to run a 2nd strip. If someone had the change this would be a good thing to pick up for really cheap!

Sounds like the track didn't sell after all, the original owner still has it, and the tracks future is still unknown.
