2002 Firebird rack pinion - leak

Car has 53,000 miles and noticed a leak, drivers side at the end of the boot/cover. Drives and turns fine but it is my son car and want to make sure to get it right.

Is there a repair or do we need to replace the whole rack?

Thanks for any replies.

you will spend just as much repairing this rack as it would cost to buy a rebuilt unit. not really a hard swap.
