Look what we happened to get our hands on!!

So many of you have been contacting us regarding wanting our CAI for your ZL1, we thought it was about time we did something about it!!

Here is our development vehicle, she's a real beauty! A big thanks to Becky @ Rodgers Chevrolet for lending us the car, we promise to take good care of her!

I think design & development should be fairly quick, and as soon as I have product details and ordering information you will all know about it. I know many of you have already filled out the vehicle submission form on our website, if you have not already I suggest you do to be informed as soon as the pre-order is available. Well logic would be yes, since it is going to provide an increased volume of air supplied to the supercharger.

If not, whoo baby watch out. Sales are going to skyrocket if it provides a HP gain with out a tune.

We'll know more as we get into it, we just got the vehicle over the weekend and to be honest the hood has not even be popped yet. Pretty sure its going to "go under the knife" any day now. Don't worry, I'll keep you guys all updated!

Lingenfelter has one and they say you dont need a tune.

I know we could make one that does not require a tune, the question is what will the gains be. We'll know more soon enough!

How about both. One CAI that would not need a tune but may not provide the optimal performance for those people that still want to avoide a tune to be able to keep the original warranty, and a 2nd CAI that would perform much better but would require a tune to get the most performance out of it thus voiding a warranty.

Honestly it's hard to say right now. I know they want to do it very soon ang get it out quick, but no time frames have been given to me yet. As soon as I get some concrete information I will pass it along. As of right now the hood has not even been popped yet, once they start digging into it I am sure they can give me some estimates. Don't worry, I'll keep everyone posted as this little journey continues!
