This just came in on my computer from dispatch. Ran back to the station to watch the news. I will post details. So far...

There was a shooting at an Aurora, Colorado theater around 12:30 mountain time. During the Batman premier, 1 gunman in bullet proof vest and gas mask opened fire with, judging from what witnesses are describing, where an AR-15 and 2 handguns. Tear gas was also used. Right now there are at least 13 dead and 50 wounded. Among the dead are multiple children and an infant. I can only expect the death toll to rise.

The suspect is in custody.

- Now there are reports of one device going off in one of the suspects vehicles. No one hurt. Another device was found in the second suspects vehicle.
-infant shot in the head at nearly point blank
-Could still be explosives left.

Keep in mind this is less than 20 miles away from Columbine. Imagine the memories coming back to the people in that area.

10 dead, 20+ taken to hospital. 2 suspects with civilian versions of military type weapons. Used tear gas/smoke as distraction.

Happened at Batman premier. 2 theaters, # 8 and 9 I believe. 2 shooters.

1 missing 9 year old girl

1 pregnant lady reportedly shot in Head and chest.

Truly tragic and unreal.

2: Some sick Columbine shooter tribute
3: Psychos
4: Batman/Heath Ledger Psycho moment
5: (Ramadan started today)

They have at least one, so we will find out something.

These guys need to be publicly hanged and left to rot if they are both taken alive. Shot an infant in the face point blank.

JUST ON SCANNER 50+ Patients unknown black count. (triage black, not race)

Yeah, been on the scanner 03:15ET. ( I am in Idaho right now)

- cop seen carrying little girl in arms with bullet wounds in back, body seemed lifeless...

I have 1st responders who are close friends on the scene passing me updates as well.

"i was there. loud gunshots were heard but i thought it was the movie. the pa system turned on and they announced to get out of the theater. the shooter was a darkish skin man who was throwing tear gas at us. he was wearing a mask that had an iranian flag on it. i'm scared, i saw a girl shot in the face"

- If so then hello WW3. Lets finish this.

- I doubt its legitimate though, at least I hope not.
