My second (and last) Camaro is in my garage. I plan to keep this one for a long time, but my next performance purchase will likely be a Ford product. I'm done with GM's warranty shenanigans.

No AC/ sound deading/ base radio w 1 speaker <--- this is a true track car that is road legal. So it is not a direct competitor to the ZL1 but more of a weekend toy. Hand built LS7 and the Carbon ceramic brakes (which are big $$$) are going to add a ton of cost. My guess is the shocks are pricy too. So add those in and it is not going to be cheap.

i wonder if there will be a option to put the stereo speakers back in. the wonderful sound the the 427 is only good for so long before you need some music. that would be the deal killer for me.

Like it and think it's great they brought back the Z/28. I'm not liking everything of the restyling of the new 14' model. Especially not liking the rear tail lights no matter how many times i look at it. Love the wheels and seats. I still like my SS enough that i'm not entertaining trading for the newest Camaro. Still waiting to see what the 6th. Gen will look like. Will have to wait and see. Having my fingers crossed it will be an awesome design.

You do not like the new rear end but I do and do not like the old rear end. I came close to not buying my Camaro because of it. People have differenc preference. You not going to please every one.

In initial testing, the Camaro Z/28 is three seconds faster per lap than the Camaro ZL1.
