Plasti Dipped Wheels

Plasti Dipped my wheels this week. First time using the stuff, really easy to apply and turned out pretty good considering it was only $25 worth of black plasti dip. I also spent another $25 on the plasti dip glossifier, which I dont think made them look any glossier, anyhow, heres some pics.. oh and I also just put on the Heritage grille finallyyyyy.

Those look Bad ass!!!
Is that stuff durable?
my wheels are the polished ones and the salt air has gotten to them and they have started to corrode.
I purchased the tire and wheel protection insurance.
If they wont warranty the wheels , i want to do this.

heep us posted on the durability.

Its very durable from what I have read. Watch the youtube videos about FAQ's from dipyourcar.com That is also where I bought the plasi dip from. My paint is still curing, but I also dipped my chrome intake tube and dropped it while taking off the tape and there was no apparent damage to the plasti dip. And when I removed the excess from the tube and my garage floor it peeled right up like vinyl or saran wrap. Pretty awesome stuff.

Will It stick to plastic? what kind of prep does it take.
The possibilities are endless!

It will stick to anything. Zero prep. Just have to be cleaned. Its great to be used as protection becuase it does not effect the paint underneath. So you can just pull it off and go back with the original color later on.

You can get the plasti dip "glossier" by painting the spokes with the can closer to them. I dont think the glossifier does anything
